Itinerary

 

DAY 1:    HO CHI MINH CITY ARRIVAL (-/-/D)
•    Arrive HCMC. Greet at airport & transfer to hotel.
•    PM: Transfer to the main section of the city. First, we will make a short stop to go into the old classic Post office as well as take a look at the Catholic Church called Notre Dame De Paris.
•    Later on, we visit to the former Presidential Palace  (Reunification Hall) followed by a visit to the China Town including the colorful whole sales Binh Tay market to absorb its sights and sounds.
•    Dinner at a typical Vietnamese restaurant.
•    Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 2:    MY THO,  A HUB OF MEKONG DELTA (B/L/D)
•    Depart to visit My Tho (approximately 2 hours driving from HCMC) – a busy hub of Mekong delta.
•    Upon arrival at local pier, board local motorized boat on the Mekong river to visit a coconut candy workshop, a famous local specialty. You will see the candy production right in this place with the explanation of local guides.
•    Take a short horse ride to a local house, meet and talk with people, observe local daily life, visit their bee farm & sample honey-tea. You will continue to take small rowing boat on canals to visit another local house with their orchard, enjoying the traditional music. Walking through fruit orchard to see and taste different kinds of seasonal fruit before returning to the pier.
•    12:30Delta lunch is provided at a local garden restaurant. After lunch, drive back to HCMC.
•    Dinner at local restaurant
•    Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 3:    HCMC - CU CHI - TAY NINH  (B/L/D)
•    08:00 Start 2 hour drive to Tay Ninh, the headquarters for the Cao Dai Sect. Cao-dai  is a unique native sect founded in early 20th century in an attempt to create and ideal religion. Observe the midday ceremony at Cao Dai great Temple.
•    12:00 Lunch at a local restaurant
•    13:30 Proceed to Cu Chi - an amazing complex of the underground network which stretched for over 250 kilometers with three levels deep. Visitor will have a unique experience and a feel of what underground life in the American war was like .
•    16:30 Return to HCMC.
•    Boat cruise dinner on Saigon River
•    Accommodation at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City

DAY 4:    HO CHI MINH - DA NANG - HOI AN  (B/L/D)
•    Transfer for morning flight to Da Nang.
•    Meet at Da Nang airport, transfer to Hoi An.
•    Lunch at local restaurant
•    PM: We head out to discover the charming of Hoi An ancient town by walking to visit a traditional Chinese Communal House, Hoi Kien Temple, ancient Merchants’ Houses, the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge & spending time in colorful local market.
•    Dinner at a nice restaurant in the town.
•    Accommodation at hotel in Hoi An
 
DAY 5:    HOI AN - HUE   (B/L/D)
•    AM: Free at leisure for your own discovery
•    09:00 Transfer to Da Nang to visit the world's finest collection of ancient Cham stone carvings at Cham Museum.
•    12:00 Lunch at restaurant in Da Nang
•    PM    Transfer to Hue City tour Hue (Approx 2,5h)
•    Check in hotel in Hue.
•    Dinner at local restaurant.
•    Accommodation at hotel in Hue

DAY 6:    HUE  (B/L/D)
•    AM: Visit Imperial Citadel & one of the most typical Royal mausoleum of Tu Duc King.
•    Lunch at local restaurant.
•    PM: boat ride along the Perfume river to visit Thien Mu pagoda with stopover at the old Kim Long village where almost ancient garden-houses remain. When boat returns, you have chance to admire the sunset from the river.
•    Dinner at local restaurant 
•    Accommodation at hotel in Hue

DAY 7:    HUE - HANOI (B/-/D)
•    Transfer to Hue airport for flight to Hanoi.
•    Greet at Hanoi airport, transfer you to city centre. (Approx. 40km)
•    Late afternoon we will enjoy a unique fascinating show of Water Puppetry, a traditional stage art of Northern Vietnam.
•    Dinner at at nice restaurant in the city.
•    Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

 

DAY 8: HANOI CITY TOUR - HA LONG  (B/L/D)
•    08:00 Meet at your place and start the city tour with visit to the area of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, including: Ho Chi Minh’s Former residence, Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh declared the independence of the Vietnam Democratic Republic in 1945, One Pillar Pagoda – one of the oldest architectures dated back from 11th century.
•    10:00 We continue to visit the Temple of Literature - the first University in Vietnam.
•    12:00 Lunch at restaurant.
•    14:00 Transfer to Halong through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta.
•    17:30 Arrive hotel in Ha Long. Check in hotel
•    18:30 Transfer to a nice restaurant in the town for dinner. After dinner, free for shopping at the Ha Long night market.
•    21:00 transfer back to hotel for overnight
•    Accommodation at hotel in Ha Long

DAY 9: HA LONG - HANOI  (B/L/D)
•    08:00 Transfer to Ha Long boat station, embark your private boat and start for 04 hours cruising on the Ha Long bay. You will be marveled by thousands of caves and islets. Boat will stop at Thien Cung cave, Dau Go cave which are considered as the most beautiful sightseeing places of Halong Bay. Some of the caves still remain prehistoric era’s vestiges. Visiting the caves, you will have chance to admire sparkling stalactites and stalagmites well as to view the whole panorama of Halong Bay from above.
•    11:00 Fresh seafood lunch is provided on board the boat.
•    12:00 Cruise back to the station where your car standby to drive back to Hanoi. On the way, you may like to stop for refreshment at a craft center run to raise money for the handicapped people.
•    16:00 Arrive your hotel in Hanoi. Visit the Hanoi Old Quarter, enjoy shopping in the Old Quarter.
•    18:30 Transfer for dinner at restaurant. After dinner, return to hotel for overnight.
•    Overnight at hotel in Hanoi

DAY 10: HANOI DEPARTURE  (B/-/-)
Breakfast at hotel. Free till transfer to airport for departure flight.
