They are the result of many times of rising and lowering processes of the continent to form a karst. The process of nearly full erosion and weathering of the karst created the unique Ha Long Bay in the world.

Nature has endowed Ninh Binh with magnificent green mountains and blue water. With the natural protection provided by the region’s landscape, the province used to be the capital under the Dinh Dynasty and part of the Le Dynasty from the 11 century. Hoa Lu temples are now located right in the site of the old citadel. The major topography of this area is wetlands with limestone mountain like Tam Coc where you will see the scenery of mountain and rivers. Together with Ha Long bay, the wetland of Ninh Binh has been chosen for the main film setting of the famous KONG: SKULL ISLAND, the newest film in King Kong franchise

Day 1: HANOI ARRIVAL

Greet at Hanoi airport & transfer to Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, a green and peaceful city with French style buildings, lakes, shaded boulevards and public parks…

In the afternoon: Start Hanoi city tour with Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake – the symbol of the historical capital city.

One hour cyclo tour in the Old Quarter then, enjoy free shopping.

Dinner at a nice restaurant in the city followed by a fascinating show of Water Puppetry, a traditional stage art of Northern Vietnam.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: HANOI CITY TOUR – HALONG

08:00 Meet at your place and start the city tour with visit to the area of Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, including: Ho Chi Minh’s Former residence, Ba Dinh Square where Ho Chi Minh declared the independence of the Vietnam Democratic Republic in 1945, One Pillar Pagoda – one of the oldest architectures dated back from 11th century.

10:00 We continue to visit the Temple of Literature - the first University in Vietnam. Lunch at restaurant.

14:00 Transfer to Halong through the beautiful countryside of the Red River Delta (3.5 hours). Check in.

18:30 Transfer to a nice restaurant in the town for dinner. After dinner, free for shopping at the Ha Long night market .

21:00 transfer back to hotel for overnight

Day 3: HA LONG – HANOI

08:00 Transfer to Ha Long boat station, embark your private boat and start for 04 hours cruising on the Ha Long bay. You will be marveled by thousands of caves and islets. Boat will stop at Thien Cung cave considered as one of the most beautiful sightseeing places of Halong Bay. Visiting the caves, you will have chance to admire sparkling stalactites and stalagmites well as to view the whole panorama of Halong Bay from above.

11:00 Fresh seafood lunch is provided on boat.

12:00 Cruise back to the station where your car standby to drive back to Hanoi. On the way, you may like to stop for refreshment at a craft center run to raise money for the handicapped people.

16:00 Arrive your hotel in Hanoi.

19:00 Dinner at restaurant. Accommodation at hotel

Day 4: HOA LU, TAM COC - HANOI

Drive south of Hanoi (110 km, approximately 02 hours driving) to Ninh Binh. Visit Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam with centuries–old Dinh & Le Dynasty Temples, then walking around the villages to see the people & rural daily life. Lunch at a nice local restaurant

After lunch, Depart to visit Tam Coc (Three Caves). You will take a rowing boat ride along the spectacular scenery to visit Tam Coc caves with huge limestone columns rising right from paddy field valleys.

Getting on the car return to Hanoi.

Arrive Hanoi at about 06 PM in the evening. Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.
