5D Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh Long - Can Tho - Chau Doc (P/CLS/5/4)

Southern land of Vietnam has special attraction to tourists when mentioned. Besides crowded and dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, this region covers local people's daily living and floating markets on rivers in the Mekong Delta.

Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon as it still known to many, is Vietnam's largest and most dynamic city. In 1862, the French declared the city, then known as Saigon, as the capital of colonial Cochin china. What hasn't changed in Ho Chi Minh City is commercial zeal. Not surprisingly, Ho Chi Minh City is a shopper's paradise, with trendy new boutiques and modern shopping centres just steps away from traditional open-air markets...

Vinh Long is a medium sized town along the banks of the Mekong River. It is the islands in the Mekong River make trips to Vinh Long beautiful. Most of the islands are given over to fruit orchards and the narrow canals are often straddled by flimsy-looking wooden bridges made from the trunks of coconut palms or bamboo and known as monkey bridges. A glimpse of country scenery and simple lifestyle at the river.

Can Tho is considered as the ‘capital’ of Mekong Delta. Being the gateway to the paradise of Mekong Delta, Vietnam, no other urban city in Vietnam can match Can Tho in terms of its spectacular landscape. Bustling with life and color, Can Tho is like a painter’s stroke on the canvas of Vietnam. You must visit this place, one of the most frequented of the Vietnam popular destinations.
