My Son, located 50 km from Hoi An, was an imperial city during the Cham dynasty between the 4th and 12th centuries. My Son sanctuary is a large complex of religious relics that comprises of more than 70 architectural works. They include temples and towers that connect to each other with intricate red brick designs. The main component of the Cham architectural design is the tower built to reflect the divinity of the King.

Day 1: MY SON SANCTUARY

08:00 Meet at your place, drive to My Son, the remote jungle valley where located the ruins of Cham's temples dated between 4th and 12th century. My Son used to be the Cham intellectual and religious center.

09:30 Arrive My Son. Originally there were about 70 towering temples here, now there remain only 20 towers which are square and built of red bricks, typical of the Cham architecture. Myson Holy See is right in the valley surrounded by mountains that makes it more holy and mysterious.
